Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a customized program for people of all ages with lung disorders. We can help you cope with your illness and improve your ability to carry out daily tasks. Pulmonary rehabilitation can improve lung function, improve lung capacity, and thereby improve the cardiopulmonary system overall. The pulmonary rehabilitation team can also provide support for behavior changes, such as increasing exercise or quitting smoking.

The pulmonary rehabilitation team at South Haven Health System consists of a Physician, a Registered Nurse, a Respiratory Therapist, a Registered Dietitian, and an Exercise Physiologist. The rehabilitation program is in the Shoreline Wellness and Rehabilitation Center.

A physician’s referral is required for pulmonary rehabilitation, so if you have a lung problem or disorder, ask your doctor if you might benefit from the pulmonary rehabilitation program at South Haven Health System.

For more information about the Pulmonary Rehabilitation program at South Haven Health System call the Cardiopulmonary Department, at 269-639-2799.
