The Infusion and Treatment Center at South Haven Health System provides quality, convenient care. Located on the first floor of the hospital adjacent to the outdoor courtyard, people may access such services as:

• Chemotherapy
• Blood Transfusions and blood therapies
• Platlet Transfusions
• IV Hydration
• IV Therapy (such as antibiotics or treatment for rheumatoid arthritis)
• Medical Injections
• Wound Care
• Consultation and Education

We are able to perform a wide variety of out-patient services that physicians, in-town or out-of-town may order for the care of their patients. We consult directly with these physicians and work under their direction to ensure the treatments are exactly as they have ordered. We also provide direct feedback to your doctor on the services you receive so you have a seamless continuum of care and monitoring of your progress.

The Infusion and Treatment Center is staffed by Registered Nurses who provide the services under the coordination of care with staff physicians. In addition to the services listed above, we can also customize a variety of other medical treatments and procedures in consultation with you and your doctor.

All treatments are scheduled in advance. Treatments are generally scheduled during normal business hours from Monday through Friday. The nurses are available by pagers until 7:00 pm for people who have questions or physicians who want to schedule a procedure. With advance notice, treatments can also be scheduled on Saturdays, when needed.
